# Lore

The conflict that takes place in the game consists of 3 varied races that are fighting for the domination of the cosmic territory and most importantly, precious STAR material.

***

## Guardians

Guardians are the last bastion of the galaxy, created from the youngest humanoid race in the universe. Despite their relatively poor military prowess, they compensate with a centralized power system, stealth and numerical strength.&#x20;

Led by the war leader Jared Halo II, the Guardians pose a significant threat to other races with their shadowy consistency and velcronic adhesiveness. Their mission is to save the galaxy from the destruction they believe the other two races bring.

***

## Interstellars

The Interstellars, a unique race comprising a massive fleet that traversed galaxies using interdimensional travel, are an enigma in the current STAR conflict. Represented by a fraction of their original population, they possess unparalleled strength with the most advanced technology and experience compared to the Guardians and Degens.&#x20;

While considered a significant threat due to their advanced scientific research with Entropy technology, their ultimate goal is to reinvent a way to return to their missed home dimension.

***

## Degens

The Degen Tribes, a fiercely aggressive and brutal society of technologically and spiritually advanced humanoid aliens, worship their covetous god Nukl and relentlessly pursue wealth through raids, wars, and plunder.&#x20;

Considered the honorary heirs of the universe and the only correct beings by their beliefs, the Degen Tribes are known for their brutality, inability to form alliances, and commitment to aggressive contact through violence and harsh correspondence.&#x20;

Led by tribe leaders and centred around the main base Death Swarm on planet Fariaah, the Degen Tribes have a deep-rooted history, marked by internal wars, spiritual evolution, and aggressive encounters with other races such as the Guardians and the mysterious Interstellars.

# Modular Design

In the development of StarHeroes, every significant component is designed in a **modular fashion**, allowing the game design team to efficiently utilize them across various parts of the game ecosystem.&#x20;

This modular approach is not only advantageous for internal development but also empowers the **StarHeroes community** to actively engage in game development.

This inclusivity makes StarHeroes accessible and appealing to a diverse range of users, including both web2 and web3 players, content creators, game developers, designers, as well as investors seeking speculative opportunities or long-term passive income options.

It's important to highlight that while the modules operate independently, they intersect and allow players to leverage achievements from one module across the entire game ecosystem.

This interconnectedness enhances the overall gaming experience, offering players the opportunity to capitalize on their progress and achievements seamlessly throughout the game.

***

Currently, the StarHeroes ecosystem is be composed of the two principal modules:

## **1. Space Module**

A space-shooter [desktop (PC) game](https://platform.gameswift.io/games/ee2abe8d-2c45-49c7-a719-55b427c7a7b5-starheroes) module which relies heavily on the esports competition coupled with the smooth web2-friendly UX

<figure><img src="/files/SYavGOBNo4hPTwEQ01zN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## **2. Hero Module**

An RPG web browser game - [Hero Duty Web App](/economy/heroes) - module which provides a casual and fun web3 experience for players willing to utilize all of the intricacies of blockchain by taking advantage of the trustless transactional aspect of this technology.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/EPwnHD2ABxQb3NOuMlaf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Decentralization

From its inception, StarHeroes has prioritized **inclusivity and community involvement.** Early community members, known as Pilots, have been integral to the development process, providing ongoing feedback and shaping the game's direction.&#x20;

***

## **I. Decentralized Web3 Game Publisher**

As the StarHeroes Studio, we've seen a growing interest from independent game studios and creators willing to collaborate with us. We've decided to partner with them and create a win-win by leveraging our expertise in **Web3 gaming and** strong **community** of skilled gamers.

### **Expanded Token Utility**

One of the key results of this transition towards decentralization is the **expansion of the STAR token utility**.&#x20;

Previously, the $STAR token was used exclusively within the StarHeroes game, but with the new decentralized approach, the token will **power multiple games** — both within the StarHeroes universe and across independent titles developed under the StarHeroes banner.

***

## **II. StarHeroes Esports League:**

StarHeroes stands out as a truly competitive web3 esports title not unly thanks to its unique gamplay, but also by pioneering the [decentralization of gaming tournaments](/esports-league).&#x20;

Here, we're inviting you to discover our **StarHeroes Esports League**, a competitive platform designed to elevate the esports experience within StarHeroes and promote high-level play, especially among web2 players.&#x20;

The League will feature different divisions and tiers, with prizes funded by the 410 ETH raised for our decentralized tournament, reinforcing a fair and competitive structure.&#x20;

Matches in the League will take place offline, with LAN finals to bring the community together for the ultimate competitive showdown.

By leveraging blockchain technology and embracing decentralization, StarHeroes is setting a new standard for esports titles, fostering a more equitable and community-driven gaming ecosystem.

***

## **III. Governance Empowerment:**

Ever wonder why Vitalik created Ethereum? It all started with his WoW character getting nerfed. This wake-up call showed him the dangers of centralized systems, inspiring him to create Ethereum. This same spirit of decentralization fuels StarHeroes.&#x20;

\
StarHeroes DAO goes beyond traditional gaming models by enabling both Gamers and Investors (holders of STAR Tokens) to actively participate in the governance of the game, its token, and the economy. This inclusive approach ensures that stakeholders have a say in the game's evolution.

***

## **IV. Revenue Redistribution:**

One of the standout features of StarHeroes is its commitment to redistributing revenue generated by the game back to the community. This ensures that both Gamers and Investors can directly benefit from the game's growth and adoption, fostering a sense of shared ownership.&#x20;

The primary methods of revenue sharing are realized through:

* Seasonal buybacks of STAR Tokens ($225k buyback completed so far)
* Sharing the game revenue with [STAR Stakers](/tokenomics/usdstar-staking)

***

## **V. Deflationary Economy Design:**

The StarHeroes economy is meticulously designed for sustainability. Initially favouring a wide and decentralized distribution of the STAR token supply for user aquisition, it is now taking advantage of [various deflationary mechanisms](/economy/play-to-burn) aiming at narrowing the FDV - MC gap.

This strategic approach ensures a robust token value proposition over time, aligning with the long-term interests of the community.

# Esports League

In Season 3, StarHeroes DAO is continuing the **StarHeroes Esports League**, a competitive platform designed to elevate the esports experience within StarHeroes and promote high-level play, especially among web2 players.&#x20;

* The league will feature different divisions and tiers reinforcing a fair and competitive structure.
* Matches in the League will take place online.
* Prizes and requirements for participation - **To Be Announced!**

***

### **Utility for NFT Tournament Maps (NFT Map Shards)**

[Map Shards ](/nft-map-shards)have so far earned their holders two airdrops, and they’re set to play an even more pivotal role. In addition to new utility planned for seasonal modes, Map Shards will also be involved in managing esports events within the Esports League.&#x20;

Moreover, holding Map Shards will offer players enhanced benefits in social activities, providing additional value to shard holders.

# Gameplay

StarHeroes offers a thrilling free-to-play space shooter experience provided from a third-person perspective, where players engage in team-based competition.&#x20;

Through comprehensive matchmaking, players can join the action solo or as part of a duo or trio, or even set up custom waiting rooms for friendly competitions. \
\
New players start with three unique spaceship classes: Shooter, Support, and Tank. As they advance, players can further develop and upgrade their ships through the Ship Tree, unlocking new abilities and enhancements along the way.

<figure><img src="/files/35XZSkjlNl8hMf7TXfBs" alt=""><figcaption><p>Game Lobby</p></figcaption></figure>

# AI Agents - Minions

In Season 3, StarHeroes introduces a new gameplay feature: **AI-controlled Minions**.

Each player now commands their own Minion, resulting in multiple Minions actively participating in every match (for example, a 3v3 match includes 6 Minions in total). These Minions are automated agents guided by artificial intelligence, programmed to execute specific orders from their player's ship.

#### Minion Actions:

Minions autonomously perform one of three key actions:

1. **Healing** – Minions can actively restore health to their team's ships, enhancing sustainability during combat.
2. **Pushing Anomalies** – Minions can help strategically push anomalies and contribute to capturing objectives.
3. **Collecting Stardust Containers** – Minions can gather valuable Stardust resources, crucial for team upgrades and advantages.

#### Minion Characteristics:

* Minions **never attack players** directly.
* They are **slow-moving**, yet possess significant durability and resilience
* Minions can be destroyed, upon which their Stardust resources are distributed among opposing team members. After destruction, Minions respawn following a set death timer.
* **Laser weapon** have increased effectiveness against Minions, just like against anomalies.

Minions add a layer of strategic depth to gameplay, enabling players to make tactical choices based on Minion positioning, resource control, and battlefield objectives.

# Game Modes

In the StarHeroes game, there are three types of gameplay:

## 1. Ranked gameplay

In the main menu, on the right side, there's a button labeled “Play Ranked.” Clicking this button initiates the search for allies and opponents to play a ranked game in StarPush mode.

Points for the leaderboard and items can only be earned in Ranked mode.

***

## 2. Custom gameplay

Below the “Play Ranked” button is the “Custom” button. Clicking it allows you to select “Custom” mode, where you can create or join existing games in either StarPush or Team Deathmatch mode.

***

## 3. Training gameplay

After clicking the “Custom” button, you can also choose the “Training” option. In Training mode, you can practice with bots to prepare for real matches.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Keep in mind that the "Custom" and "Training" modes DO NOT contribute to accumulating points on the leaderboard!
{% endhint %}

# StarPush

## **StarPush**

*By choosing the StarPush mode, you will engage in ranked game sessions based on matchmaking. Only this mode lets you progress in the leaderboard ranking!*

StarPush is an intense multiplayer game mode where players navigate through three phases, collecting StarDust to gain advantages. From battling enemy ships to pushing pivotal objects like Anomaly Augments and the crucial Star Seed, teams compete for bonuses and attempt an immediate win.

### I. Phase 1 - Preparation phase (lasts 3 minutes)

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/nBk5ODgde8oL7FIOaGcaumyq1SPIZS1QhMbJRZ_TzK-C7Keq_K4kKeDk5n8Jl7_OVrFER2V__3nz5rs0Z4LBVsRVibM-MlmmALdsrQ3CdIU_TzhV9fy3w725cHxG8GkMhbDizOHnk_BeBbd5exD3ROQ" alt=""><figcaption><p>Preparation phase</p></figcaption></figure>

During this phase, players should mainly focus on flying across the map and collecting StarDust. StarDust is collected in three ways:

* By destroying containers and collecting particles emitted from them.
* By destroying enemy ships.
* Through passive energy influx.

In the lower-left corner, there's information on the current amount of collected StarDust which can be used in the [shop](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KNOMEK3l7x61g_MPAM1mEp4NnWzhLzaBuYPXAk41rBQ/edit#heading=h.5b3wcsdukgwv).

{% hint style="info" %}
If one player gathers StarDust, the whole team receives the same amount, so it doesn't matter which player gathers it!
{% endhint %}

### II. Phase 2 - Anomaly phase (3-10 minute of the game)

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/3aAjFAXVgo5CAq1R8tbvrc5OEKVeJVbCNTQ43IyBtyJpRnbhKsmRiYBWZuc0RHySAokQjFlPLHJvLcJpAi3v-pXgo0fTcaWh9L-S9Tbu6oQB6Ki7ZNsLZkYOGPJEVZGoTXVQnEN6tT0_4ZckJgvvcVQ" alt=""><figcaption><p>Anomaly phase</p></figcaption></figure>

After 3 minutes of gameplay, the first Anomaly Augment will spawn in the middle of the map. This is an object that needs to be pushed by shooting at it. The direction from which we shoot at the object doesn't matter, only the amount of damage dealt matters. Pushing the Anomaly Augment to the end grants a random bonus to the team that pushed it. After being pushed, the Anomaly Augment respawns after 15 seconds, and it can be contested again.&#x20;

Currently, there are seven bonuses (buffs):

* Increasing the hull's life by 600 points.
* Increasing shield regeneration speed by 30%.
* Increasing boost capacity and regeneration by 50%.
* Increase maximum shield by 15%.
* Increase damage to objectives (anomalies/star seeds) by 10%.&#x20;
* Reduce active ability cooldown by 10%.&#x20;
* Reduce respawn lock time by 15%.

{% hint style="info" %}
Remember that StarDust containers still spawn during Phase 2, albeit less frequently. It's still worth fighting for and collecting energy to upgrade your ship in the shop.
{% endhint %}

### Phase 3 - Decisive phase

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/41yK5pN0ofw7F1jBm0QsjX8d4p_wli3Wb08fBvUlpboHbpJ2DFnYJCA7zbtsUeqG-15VGi93qGaiU1JnhIORknEtMMXyXRG58GRm7wMzZ3NCEHRGEY8i9EJe1FXUU8YQyuEoS9wVAOYCzssEzcexPU0" alt=""><figcaption><p>Decisive phase</p></figcaption></figure>

At the 10th-minute mark, the Anomaly Augment respawns, and after 15 seconds, the Star Seed spawns. Similar to the Anomaly Augment, the Star Seed is an object that needs to be pushed. However, it's more crucial than the Anomaly Augment.

**PUSHING THE STAR SEED RESULTS IN AN IMMEDIATE WIN!!!**&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
If the game doesn't end by 15 minutes, Overtime occurs, and the Star Seed starts moving faster, which should help conclude the match.
{% endhint %}

# Additional info

Dive deeper into the StarPush Mode!

### Container spawning frequency&#x20;

In Phase 1, containers spawn every 30 seconds. In Phases 2 and 3, containers spawn every 90 seconds, but they also provide 3 times more energy.&#x20;

### Bounty system

An initial version of the bounty system has been implemented. By default, destroying an enemy ship adds 150 StarDust, and 75 for an assist (to be divided among assisting players). However, if a player has been destroyed multiple times in a row or has destroyed enemy ships multiple times in a row, a bounty will be placed on them. The bounty value can be viewed on the leaderboard.&#x20;

### **Items**&#x20;

**Items can be obtained as loot during gameplay by performing certain actions:**

* destroying StarDust containers,
* destroying enemy ships,
* capturing Anomalies,
* winning the game.

Items acquired by the player go into an unlimited stash where the player can manage them and equip them on their ships. Each player has a daily limit on how many items they can obtain in a single day (about 7 matches). Once this limit is reached, the player cannot loot any more items that day.

### Anomaly Augment - comeback and accumulation mechanics

If Team A has already pushed several Anomaly Augments, pushing additional ones will be slightly more difficult - the damage dealt to the anomaly will be lower than before. This mechanic aims to facilitate a comeback for the losing team.&#x20;

### Accumulation Mechanic&#x20;

As the game progresses, damage increases. The maximum amount of damage and charges that the anomaly can take also increases over time in the match. This means that by the 9th minute, the Anomaly Augment will move faster than it did in the 3rd minute.&#x20;

### Respawn time extension&#x20;

Respawn time becomes longer as the game goes on.

### Reconnect&#x20;

We introduce the reconnect mechanic. If you're kicked out of the game for any reason, there's now an option to return to the game.&#x20;

### Tips on how to play and win&#x20;

{% hint style="warning" %}
Collecting StarDust from containers is VERY IMPORTANT!&#x20;
{% endhint %}

Having a strong economy is even more important than destroying enemy ships, but destroying enemy ships provides time to gain that advantage. Instant respawn is very useful in the final phase of the game - it's worth saving some StarDust before to be able to return to battle quickly.&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
The Laser is a unique weapon that deals increased damage to Anomaly Augments and Star Seeds. Although it's not the best weapon in combat, it's very useful for pushing.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Collecting StarDust from barrels now restores a percentage of your missing health.
{% endhint %}

# Team Deathmatch

## Team Deathmatch

The classic shooter match mode which lets you engage in intense multiplayer space warfare to eliminate opposition and dominate. This clash revolves around two rival factions battling for supremacy in the cold vacuum of space. Team Deathmatch is a perfect mode for practicing your pilot skills, team coordination, and grinding experience.

{% hint style="warning" %}
To play it you’ll need to switch the game mode to "Custom”. However, keep in mind that Team Deathmatch DOES NOT contribute to accumulating points on the [Leaderboard](/economy/leaderboard)!!!
{% endhint %}

The primary objective is to eliminate enemy spacecraft and accumulate points for your team. The team that amasses the highest energy count within the given time emerges victorious. Throughout the match, you can upgrade and strategize from your team's base by equipping yourself with a deadlier weapon type by pressing B in your base.

# Weapon System

Explore the diverse array of weaponry at your disposal, with 10 distinct types offering unique tactical advantages. Each weapon boasts varying bullet speeds, introducing a strategic element to consider when aiming at opponents. Mastery of these nuances will be key to gaining the upper hand in battles.

* **MINIGUN**&#x20;

A foundational weapon armed with laser precision. Excellent for close to medium-range combat, and investing in upgrades elevates its effectiveness to a potent level.&#x20;

***

* **CKM 2000**&#x20;

An agile rapid-fire rifle employing lasers with an abundance of bullets. Suited for swift engagements at close to medium range, packing a punch with its rapid-fire capability.&#x20;

***

* **VAPOR CANNON**&#x20;

A swift laser rifle offering a slightly lower bullet count compared to the CKM 2000. A worthy alternative for those favouring rapid-fire mechanics. Thrives in short and medium-range combat scenarios.&#x20;

***

* **FLAK CANNON**&#x20;

An intricate weapon demanding precision for mastery. Inflicts substantial damage across all ranges, employing alternating dual beams for an impactful assault.&#x20;

***

* **PROTON CANON**&#x20;

A standout weapon in the StarHeroes arsenal, excelling at inflicting substantial damage irrespective of range. Unleashes powerful purple energy balls, a force to be reckoned with.&#x20;

***

* **DISRUPTOR (formerly: GAUSS CANNON** )

A lethal sniper rifle demanding precision. Capable of taking down enemies swiftly with just a few accurate shots. Adaptable for short to medium-range engagements with deadly damage but a long reload time.

{% hint style="info" %}
Gauss Cannon has been replaced by a new weapon: Disruptor.
{% endhint %}

***

* **SPREAD CANNON**&#x20;

A shotgun variant excelling within medium to close ranges. Highly effective in strategic ball control scenarios.

***

* **ELECTRIC WAVE GUN**&#x20;

Emits electrically charged projectiles akin to the proton gun. Equally effective across all distances for a devastating impact. The Electric Wave Gun inflicts more damage on enemy shields than on HP.

***

* **PULSE CANNON**

Comparatively slower than the minigun but offers enhanced precision. Tailored for short and medium-range engagements within the current lineup. The Pulse Cannon charges ammo by holding the left mouse button. It can charge up to 5 stacks. At 5 stacks, it deals maximum damage.

***

* **LASER**&#x20;

A dual laser beam emitter ideal for short-range combat. Highly effective in manipulating anomalies and directing the star seed, the ultimate ball in the game.

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/EwGSZ7JT5cPxw29Y4FASPfQpT-MVB21Wr6u-USHjIn5fJTU4Veav6NJiMw7GRHAxFJXmgFueyHgy2bJupBELoJb_5NCojl2aUTSRNcn40H1SvujN0EMbm3SBq6McbqzedIVyym7G5mAtZh7z-4VK4io" alt=""><figcaption><p>Weapon System</p></figcaption></figure>

# Maps

In Season 3, players can experience five maps which differ visually and require different battle tactics:

* Nox Colony&#x20;
* Degens Arena&#x20;
* Lunis Station&#x20;
* Orionis Prime
* Tunnel Map

Enjoy your flights, Pilots!

# Player Profile Tab

In Season 2, we introduced the profile tab. This window provides all the information about your current games, level, rank, Hero statistics, and the number of your items.

<figure><img src="https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com/docsz/AD_4nXcjGwp3_XLBGgdV65rAKeQa5Rtd_EWahpHTOTl9iCzbOhpzNbD0ArqxkDeeDSuzbUqHe7GrYUH271O8EDSc9FbTseA-CeZfjjXAXAxclHReD0n9p2a47uAd_5WAZtjbTuTkVsYQo_iZ-H9rKStcZb8EpQ?key=e53DPwtW22mocDjSzs1SRw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Account Levels

Your account is divided into three levels:

* **Fleet Level**

Displays the level of your ship equipped with items. The higher the item tier, the higher your fleet level.

* **Eternal Level**

Formerly known as hangar level, it retains its functions under a new name.

* **Skill Rank**

A new feature, skill rank shows your position in the ranking based on your skill (MMR). If you're the best, you'll be ranked number one.

***

### Game Points

Points are awarded for winning or losing matches in ranking mode. There's a daily limit on points you can earn. Previously, you bought fuel to increase the number of ranked games. Now, purchasing a “Pilot License” will increase your potential points.

***

### Stake Boost

This provides an instant boost to new players who don't receive StarForce, encouraging them to stake. The number of tokens staked is multiplied by the pool multiplier.&#x20;

For example, if you have 10k in Comet and 5k in Supernova, the Stake Boost (SB) is calculated as 2 \* 10k + 6 \* 5k = 50k. When unbound is launched, Stake Boost from a given pool becomes 0.&#x20;

***

### Heroes Stats

This value is determined by all the Heroes linked to the wallet, factoring in their levels. For instance, 10 Heroes at level 5 will provide a higher multiplier than 10 Heroes at level 4.

{% hint style="warning" %}
ALL Heroes linked to your GameSwift account count toward your StarScore.
{% endhint %}

***

### Mastery Rank

You have the ability to improve your rank, which reflects your skill in the game. To achieve a higher rank, you must win matches in ranked mode and accumulate 100 points.

<figure><img src="/files/GHLevvorEAOgwQkMhgF0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

### Items

The new meta progression revolves around items. Players can earn [items ](#items)by playing and winning ranked matches.

1. **Daily Items Acquired**

We can collect up to 30 items per day. By purchasing an "item permit" in the store, we can increase the number of items we can acquire on a given day.

2. **Total Items Acquired Today**

This is the sum of items collected during a day's play, along with their rarities.

3. **Drop Chance**

This is the probability of obtaining an item of a specific rarity. The higher your rank, the better your chances of receiving higher rarity items: Common, Rare, Epic, or Legendary.

<figure><img src="/files/F1tqx0eDOOwtHmr1fJtJ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# S2 Gameplay Features

Fresh season brings exciting new gameplay features to StarHeroes. Dive in and discover what’s new!

### Team Draft

Team Draft, a feature known in many games, introduces a tactical element that allows players to devise the best strategies and distribution of ship classes with their allies to dominate the opposing team. Each ally and opponent has 15 seconds to choose their ship class. The selection process is chronological: player 1 makes their choice, followed by the next player selecting their class.

<figure><img src="https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com/docsz/AD_4nXc5VmFhEoekqBGz0a2hqm59wG4mTbInN0WwO3Dz_WLQOPkuuxVUUadFRcfB2bOPMN0A1mwb2jiWhQOGhMftDf_Z8mw3NRzEzO_BxOKJCoK4s_V3g-n8Dbx0eRhbQQkt44M-1uvRrX6LmWSvJF2I8ZsNBTo?key=e53DPwtW22mocDjSzs1SRw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

### New In-game Shop

The in-game shop in Season 2 received a revamped fresh look:

<figure><img src="https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com/docsz/AD_4nXdbhf0mbapzQZQpTXuu4C1Xp4UjPDUU_ENtFhZoUUtuDwr7kBpQYFWfOwPbiFQXp0kD5OB2EnEDI8R_pxHjEhMXKtp_zP74AdYzG0c7i_dL7AT95MCrU4oNHuIBJHq3UX2ySp9y8VdGkbrSKuyyOE3ywHg?key=e53DPwtW22mocDjSzs1SRw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

### Ping Mode

During the game, three pings will be available:

1. **Marking the Opponent**

Allies can mark an opponent, allowing the entire team to see the opponent's location. This feature is especially helpful when not communicating via Discord, Teamspeak, or similar platforms, enhancing in-game coordination.

2. **Retreat**

This ping signals to allies that you are returning to base and will not participate in the upcoming fight.

3. **SOS**

A straightforward alert displayed above your ship and on the killfeed indicating that you need assistance.

***

### **Default Combat Abilities**

This exciting change is coming for both new players and veterans who haven't yet purchased abilities for unblocked ships. Now, every ship you buy will come with active and passive abilities included.&#x20;

The only purchases you'll need to make are for three weapon slots, faster respawn, increased engine power, and improved star dust earnings.<br>

***

### Default Ships for Newcomers

New players will start with three ships: shooter, support, and tank.

# Economy

The **StarHeroes economy** is a well-crafted ecosystem where players strategically leverage a range of resources and game elements to enhance their gameplay and climb the leaderboards.&#x20;

At its core, the economy revolves around:

* [Currencies](/economy/currencies)
* [Heroes](/economy/heroes)
* [Spaceships](/economy/spaceships)
* [Licences](/economy/pilot-licences)
* [Boosts](/economy/boosts)
* [Items](/economy/items)

Players strategically manage resources, staking STAR tokens, using different kinds of Licences and Spaceships for matches, as well as optimizing Hero choices to navigate the intricate balance of in-game economics, influencing their overall progression and success on the [Main Leaderboard](/economy/leaderboard/main-leaderboard).

# Launchpool

StarHeroes DAO approved allocating 300 [$ETH](https://x.com/search?q=%24ETH\&src=cashtag_click) from the Treasury for Tournament Launchpool Seasons!&#x20;

Program Highlights:&#x20;

\- 300 [$ETH](https://x.com/search?q=%24ETH\&src=cashtag_click) allocated across multiple competitive seasons.&#x20;

\- [$STAR](https://x.com/search?q=%24STAR\&src=cashtag_click) holders will be able to stake in [$ETH](https://x.com/search?q=%24ETH\&src=cashtag_click) farming pools with various multipliers.&#x20;

\- Competitive players will qualify for Launchpool distribution based on multiple factors.

***

# Win-to-Airdrop

The **Win2Airdrop** feature is designed to reward competitive play in StarHeroes. Every game in ranked matches not only boosts your position on the [Leaderboard](/economy/leaderboard) but also awards you staked $STAR tokens, which can be used in the Launchpool.

## Overview

* **Staked Rewards:** Win ranked matches and accumulate staked $STAR tokens.
* **Rare Drop Chances:** A win may randomly trigger a *Rare Drop*, awarding a huge token reward.
* [**Boost**](/economy/boosts) **Benefits:** Enhance drop rates significantly by purchasing boosts; with a boost, you get up to 10X higher chance for a Rare Drop.

## How it Works

1. **Winning Ranked Matches**

* **Token Rewards:** Each time you win a ranked match, you receive a staked $STAR token.

2. [**Boost**](/economy/boosts) **Mechanic**

* **Enhanced Rare Drop Chances:** With a boost, your chance to land a Rare Drop increases by 10X. This makes investing in boosts a critical strategy if you’re aiming for premium rewards.

# Play-to-Burn

StarHeroes employs three strategic mechanisms to prevent $STAR token dilution, ultimately aiming to close the gap between the fully diluted valuation (FDV) and the market cap.

## 1. Play-to-Burn <a href="#id-5635" id="id-5635"></a>

StarHeroes is the first-ever Web3 game to adopt the Play-to-Burn mechanism to tackle token dilution.

<figure><img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:963/0*IWlebRPMkhW-HHG8.png" alt="" height="394" width="700"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The premise is simple: **the more games played each week, the more STAR tokens are burned.**

These tokens are sourced from the DAO Warchest pool, which constitutes **34.5%** of the total supply, and partially from the Decentralized User Acquisition pool, which accounts for 10% of the total supply.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Together, **up to 40% of the total supply is eligible for burning.**
{% endhint %}

Key aspects of Play-to-Burn include:

* **Massive Burning Potential**

The more games played, the more tokens are burned weekly, with up to 40% of the total supply eligible for burning.

* **User-Friendly Dashboard**

Players can track the number of games played and tokens burned via a dashboard on our homepage: <https://starheroes.community/>

* **Ongoing Burns**

Token burning will occur weekly over the next seasons, burning **up to 10% of tokens per season.**

## 2. Hero Duty Web App Burns <a href="#c2e2" id="c2e2"></a>

<figure><img src="/files/o6ZvakDKi7zcHhQo5zta" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In addition to Play-to-Burn, the Hero Duty App provides another stream for burning tokens. Tokens spent by players in the Hero Duty App are **removed from circulation and irrevocably burned.**

Currently, over **3,481,992 $STAR tokens (and still growing!)** have been deposited in the Hero Duty Web App. Upon StarHero DAO's approval, they will be **removed** from the circulating supply and **irrevocably burned.**

## 3. Buyback & Burn <a href="#id-809e" id="id-809e"></a>

Finally, in previous Seasons StarHeroes DAO has so far dedicated **$225,000 worth of revenue to constantly buy and burn $STAR tokens from the market**. This initiative will help reduce the circulating supply and increase the scarcity and value of $STAR tokens.

To prevent market frontrunning, we won’t provide exact dates of buybacks. However, once the buybacks are completed, we will provide the transaction hashes of the buyback transactions to ensure full transparency.

## Ultimate Goal: Deflationary $STAR <a href="#id-1f9d" id="id-1f9d"></a>

Buybacks are one of the three key stategies to ensure the $STAR token remains net deflationary, meaning its total supply will decrease over time, potentially increasing its value. Through buybacks, tokens are repurchased and removed from circulation, reducing supply. This mechanism, along with Play-to-Burn and Hero Duty burns, collectively aims to make the $STAR token more scarce and valuable in the long term.

# Leaderboard

There are two leaderboards in StarHeroes: the Main Leaderboard and the Skillboard, accessible at[ https://leaderboard.starheroes.io/](https://leaderboard.starheroes.io/).&#x20;

The [Main Leaderboard](#main-leaderboard) not only adds utility to STAR token, generates revenue and enhances our social reach but also rewards players at the end of each[ ](https://wiki.starheroes.community/economy/seasons)chapter. On the other hand, the Skillboard doesn't directly contribute to revenue; instead, it serves as a marketing tool to bolster our esports narrative.

#### Main Leaderboard

The main battlefield for web3 players is our Main Leaderboard, which grants top players with dedicated rewards. Look out for the announcement of the Season 3 reward!

#### Skill Leaderboard

The Skill Leaderboard is designed to sort players based on our custom matchmaking formula. This formula is crafted to reward players who consistently win matches and demonstrate superior performance while penalizing those who lose and underperform. Its objective is to accurately reflect players' understanding of in-game mechanics and their quick reflexes.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Understanding the intricacies of the Leaderboard is essential for players aiming to secure a position in the top ranks, claim lucrative rewards, and strategically navigate the competitive landscape each season.
{% endhint %}

# Main Leaderboard

## Main Leaderboard

Season 3 consists of four weeks, followed by a tournament.

Players are ranked based on their:

* in-game activity (**Game Points**)
* contributions through the Hero Duty App (**Hero Points**)
* successful player referrals (**Social Points**).&#x20;

Climb the leaderboard by staying active and engaging with the community!

### Seasonal Resets

* The leaderboard resets with every season.
* Leaderboard Rewards:
  * Top players on the leaderboard receive substantial token rewards.
  * The distribution of token rewards varies depending on a player's standing.
  * These rewards are vested over a short period, creating a competitive incentive.

### Leaderboard Categories and StarScore

Main Leaderboard has 3 categories:

**1. Game**

**2. Hero**

**3. Social**

Depending on the place you have in each category, you’ll be rewarded with StarScore. Your position in the Main Leaderboard depends on the total StarScore you get from all the categories.

# StarScore

StarScore is a metric used in the[ Main Leaderboard](https://wiki.starheroes.community/economy/leaderboard/main-leaderboard) system to rank players based on various factors. This score is primarily influenced by three components:

* **Game**

Reflects the player skill, time spent playing the game and amount of money invested.

***

* **Hero Duty App**

Reflects the amount of money invested in the game ecosystem.

***

* **Social**

Indicates how active a player is in referring other players to the game.

***

## Game

By playing games you gain Game Points that count up to Daily Game Points Limit.

At the end of each day at midnight UTC, the points you received will be added to your total points and the leaderboard category for Game will be recalculated.

You can increase your Daily Game Points Limit in two ways:

* by purchasing [Pilot Licenses](/economy/pilot-licences) in the in-game shop
* by getting higher Mastery Ranks. To get higher Mastery Rank you can:
  * Grind, upgrade and equip items to increase your Fleet Level
  * Increase your skill rank
  * Win more games

Players can boost their daily Game Points earn by:

* staking $STAR tokens and
* holding high-level Heroes in their wallets.&#x20;

This activates a Game Points multiplier, rewarding active and invested players each day.

***

## Hero Duty App

Duty Points are obtained by dispatching NFT Heroes on missions. Users can send their Heroes on Missions using the [Hero Duty Web App](#hero-duty-app).

[Staking STAR](https://wiki.starheroes.community/tokenomics/star-token) offers a significant boost to the HeroScore obtained through missions. That boost system is based on the StarForce points.

***

## Social

Social Points are calculated a fraction of all Game Points attributed to players referred on a specific day. As previously mentioned, Game Points are influenced by both a player's investment and time spent, making it essential for KOLs to motivate their referred players to invest both money and time into StarHeroes.<br>

{% hint style="info" %}
The StarScore metric reflects not only in-game performance but also the player's investment and commitment, creating a dynamic and competitive gaming environment.
{% endhint %}

# Currencies

In-game transactions involve four currencies:

1. **Credits**: this currency is earned for each match played in the Space Module. Credits are also purchasable by using G-Bucks.&#x20;
2. **Merits**: earned for each match played in the Space Module. Can be only earned through gameplay. &#x20;
3. **G-Bucks**: advanced virtual assets purchasable with USDT/USDC. Subject to the discount system introduced by [GS Pay](https://mirror.xyz/0x69699A9551aF5fbBEf4B2d84E0A708A0f36F9779/jetLeHzudwXcpMhtX0SlkYvSXGdTFNXM34wzDjSYe_Y).

&#x20;        You can buy G-Bucks [here](https://gswift.community/g-bucks).

4. **$STAR**: an ERC-20 blockchain token, tradeable in various venues, including Centralized and Decentralized Exchanges. $STAR is a multi-utility governance native token of StarHeroes. Learn more [here](/tokenomics/usdstar-token).&#x20;

# Heroes

In StarHeroes, Heroes take centre stage as unique NFTs, each possessing distinctive [Factions](/lore), abilities, and levels. These NFT Heroes contribute significantly to your [Leaderboard](/economy/leaderboard) success through **StarScore**.&#x20;

Acquiring, levelling, and strategically combining Heroes become key decisions, shaping the player's journey in this dynamic gaming experience.

<figure><img src="/files/eMNwIyDvrwJKMh2TgVGX" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

## New Levels and Missions

In Season 3, **StarHeroes** introduces a mission system based on Hero generations, with **Gen X** and **Gen Y** Heroes having different levelling options and benefits.

A Hero's generation depends on their level:

* **Gen X Heroes**: from level 1 to level 10
* **Gen Y Heroes**: from level 11 to level 20

<figure><img src="/files/QSbXfmVymFZUxNSTqJ8e" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Hero Duty Web App

Within our dedicated web browser game module ([**Hero Duty Web App**](/hero-duty-web-app)), Hero holders will be able to undertake the following actions, **each requiring STAR**:

1. **Sending** Heroes on missions for experience points
2. **Accelerating** Hero mission time,
3. [Levelling up](/economy/heroes/levelling-up) Heroes that have accumulated sufficient experience.

Since missions require time for completion, each Hero can only undertake a finite number of missions daily. Consequently, a Hero's level becomes a pivotal characteristic, **determining its market value**.&#x20;

***

**Available Missions:**

* Missions vary by Hero generation.
* Completing missions grants fixed experience points and has set durations.
* Missions can be assigned as standard or shortened (shortened costs more $STAR).
* **Gen X Heroes** have 4 missions available;&#x20;
* **Gen Y Heroes** have 4 missions available, including a Mystery Mission.

***

**Mystery Mission**:

* Gen Y Heroes get a special mystery mission (one of their four) with randomized experience and Hero Points rewards, revealed only after confirmation.

{% hint style="warning" %}
A**ll heroes linked to your wallet contribute to your Hero Points**.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Heroes with higher levels yield greater **StarScore** when dispatched on missions.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Wallets [staking](/tokenomics/usdstar-staking) a requisite amount of STAR will receive bonus **StarScore** and experience when dispatching Heroes on Missions. This feature aims to provide an additional utility to the STAR token.
{% endhint %}

***

**Diverse Hero Options:**

* Players can choose from an unlimited pool of Heroes, each with unique attributes.
* The Heroes are not ship-specific, offering flexibility in strategic choices.

***

[**StarScore**](/economy/leaderboard/starscore) **Impact:**

* Hero missions continually contribute to Hero Points and thus to **StarScore**.&#x20;
* The greater the amount of STAR a user stakes, the larger the **StarScore** boost they receive.
* Heroes play a significant role in boosting **StarScore**, impacting overall earnings depending on their current level.
* The higher the Hero level, the more substantial the impact on **StarScore.**

***

[**Leaderboard** ](/economy/leaderboard)**Contribution:**

* Heroes contribute significantly to gathering StarScore, adding a strategic layer to the Hero gameplay usage.
* Higher-level Heroes enhance the chances of climbing the leaderboard.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Understanding the nuances of the Hero system is essential for players to strategically select, level up, and synergize Heroes, thereby optimizing their overall gaming experience and climbing the Leaderboard.
{% endhint %}

# Levelling-up

Hero levelling is at the forefront, offering incremental enhancements across 20 levels. Heroes, significantly impact HeroScore, and therefore contribute to [Leaderboard](/economy/leaderboard/main-leaderboard) success.&#x20;

The strategic acquisition, progression, and skilful combinations make Hero levelling a pivotal aspect, defining a player's strategic journey in the game. Let's explore the concise intricacies of Hero progression.

1. **Hero Progression:**
   * Heroes can progress through a maximum of 20 levels.
   * Heros level 11-20 have four exclusive missions available.
   * Incremental advancements require active gameplay, contributing to a Hero's overall effectiveness.
2. **Leaderboard Significance:**
   * Heroes contribute significantly to earning [StarScore](/economy/leaderboard/starscore), making hero levelling a key aspect of strategic progression.
   * Higher-level Heroes enhance a player's chances of climbing the leaderboard ranks.

# Spaceships

Spaceships are off-chain in-game assets. Currently, there are 28 ships categorized into 6 tiers. Players have the option to select from six distinct classes of spaceships: Shooter, Tank, Support, Engineer, Hitman and Tempest.&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
[Learn more](/economy/spaceships/classes) about how each of these Classes dictates the ships' statistics, as well as passive and active abilities, significantly altering their gameplay style.
{% endhint %}

Players earn Merits and Credits after each match played in the Space Module. Both currencies are credited to the user's account and are not specific to any ship. The amount of Merits and Credits earned depends on various factors, including:

* Match outcome (win/lose)
* Player performance (damage dealt, KDA, strategy)
* Selected ship tier

Players have the option to purchase Credits using G-Bucks, while Merits must be earned through gameplay. The cost structure of the ship tree ensures that players typically accumulate excess Merits compared to Credits, motivating them to exchange G-Bucks for Credits to continue progressing.

Additionally, players can use Credits to purchase ship visuals, although the prices are intentionally set high to discourage rapid acquisition. G-Bucks are thus preferred for this purpose.

### Ship Tree

Players unlock ships by spending Credits, following the ship tree rule. Players begin with three space ships in the ship tree (shooter, tank and support) and progress upwards. Ships in higher tiers boast superior attributes, being faster and more durable, and also have enhanced visual aesthetics.

<figure><img src="/files/wuViDQG5YgHRxUURMyH8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Each ship offers players the opportunity to advance in three distinct aspects:

1. **Combat Level**
2. **Visual Level**
3. **Items**

### **Eternal Level (formerly: Hangar Level)**

The Eternal level is determined by the cumulative Combat and Visual levels of all ships. To maximize the Eternal Level, which impacts StarScore, players need to unlock all ships and elevate their combat and visual levels.

<figure><img src="/files/Y1ceAUoEy8m3QrVEtRo1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Combat Level**

Combat Level serves as a nested progression system within each ship, featuring six distinct paths. Players utilize Credits and Merits to unlock gameplay functionalities and enhance ship stats by allocating points according to the following scheme. Each point invested increases the combat level by 1. With a total of 12 points available, the maximum combat level achievable is 13. Notably, there are six independent paths to explore.

{% hint style="warning" %}
It's essential to highlight that all combat upgrades and ships can be unlocked by non-paying users, making **StarHeroes a non-pay-to-win (P2W) game**. Unlike P2W games where players can gain advantages over non-paying users by spending real-world currency to access powerful content, StarHeroes follows a different approach.
{% endhint %}

**Visual Level**

Visual Level predominantly rewards players who make real-money purchases. It encompasses points allocated to ship visuals, including colourway, engine effect, and premium variant.

# Classes

In the StarHeroes Game, a player has a variety of Spaceships to choose from. Divided into six classes that determine their stats, as well as passive and active abilities. Each enables a unique playstyle and specifications.

## Shooter

Highly mobile and agile spacecraft, equipped with formidable firepower. Designed to fit the aggressive role of the team, allows the player to make incredible maneuvers aimed to score a high kill streak. Shooter makes for a perfect fit for players who like to go into the center of the action and are blessed with agile fingers trained in fps games. Shooters are available in 6 tiers.

## Tank

A class designed to soak up incoming damage and control the battlefield from up close. Tanks are characterized by the highest passive health and reinforced armor making them able to withstand the worst onslaught. These behemoths are created for players who enjoy dominating the battlefield with mobile fortresses among the stars. Tanks are available in 6 tiers.

## Support

The most tactical class out of all 3. Support ships are equipped with a variety of tools enabling the player to shape the battlefield. Whether it be by keeping their allied ships alive or enhancing their firepower, while still adding up to the damage. This class is made for those who like to pull the strings of events in a Machiavellian style.

## Engineer

The Engineer's spaceship is equipped with two key abilities:

1. **Auto Repairing \[Passive Ability]:** Passively restores HP but stops if the spaceship takes damage. It reactivates after avoiding damage for 1 second.
2. **Turret Ability \[Active Ability]:** Deploys a turret that increases its damage over time. Only one turret can be active, and reactivating the ability destroys the existing turret. The cooldown is 30 seconds.

These abilities make the spaceship versatile, capable of self-repair and strategic turret deployment for both defense and offense.

## Hitman

The Hitman's spaceship has a powerful offensive ability: execution.

Execution allows the Hitman to tag an enemy. If the tagged enemy's health drops below 25%, they will be destroyed upon being attacked. The tag lasts for 3 seconds. If the enemy is destroyed while the Execution is active, the ability's cooldown is reset. The cooldown for this ability is 10 seconds.

This ability makes the Hitman's spaceship highly effective at finishing off weakened enemies and maintaining pressure in combat.

## Tempest

Tempest A class focused on controlling enemy movement and dominating areas of the battlefield through powerful slowing effects and persistent damage zones. The Tempest's spaceship is equipped with two distinctive abilities:

1. **Tempest Zone \[Active Ability]**: Deploys a large sphere, inflicting continuous damage and significantly slowing enemy ships caught within its radius. Ideal for disrupting enemy formations and securing strategic positions.
2. **Shackles \[Passive Ability]**: Every successful hit from any weapon temporarily slows the targeted enemy ship, greatly reducing its mobility and effectiveness in combat.

This class excels at crowd control, making it perfect for players who prefer strategic positioning and tactical disruption over direct confrontation.

# Pilot Licences

To maintain the Leaderboard integrity and prevent players from endlessly farming StarScore, StarHeroes limits the daily amount of [Game Points](/economy/leaderboard/starscore) that contribute to the [Main Leaderboard](/economy/leaderboard/main-leaderboard).

However, Players can increase this limit by buying Pilot Licences in the shop with [G-Bucks](/economy/currencies).&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com/docsz/AD_4nXdHSrOweSEnRfs2n4JI4TT1YAIG2CczQSPAEZYtDZKvRplRua9BILzznLr6uP02nckhWKykLTrJBnaUlXX_ffwsfvjaa1aHFcRn5p0kGI6qd85gT-Aeh9uZuurd6ntKJkwUY8EyD0sl76UxACeqC7SWJPk?key=e53DPwtW22mocDjSzs1SRw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Unlike traditional energy systems in mobile games, this system does not restrict gameplay but rather incentivizes players to engage more, with the option to pay for increasing the limit of Game Points which count towards the Main Leaderboard.

### **Leaderboard Impact**

* Using Licenses is essential for accumulating higher StarScore and therefore advancing in the Leaderboard rankings.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Understanding the intricate details of the in-game economy, including Hero mechanics, and Main Leaderboard dynamics enhances the player's strategic approach to the game.

# Boosts

Boosts are powerful tools designed to multiply your daily Game Points earnings, enabling strategic investment in your [Leaderboard](/economy/leaderboard/main-leaderboard) progression.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/RXrC0WKl4nr2BgX5L0vz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Boosts can be purchased using [G-Bucks](/economy/currencies) and are currently available in three durations:

* 2 days
* 5 days
* 10 days

Once activated, a Boost increases all your Game Points earned after every game and helps you achieve your Daily Limit faster.

{% hint style="info" %}
Boosts allow players to save time and are one of the most efficient ways to climb the Leaderboard faster.
{% endhint %}

# Items

The meta progression in StarHeroes revolves around items. Players can earn items by playing and winning ranked matches. These items slightly enhance your spaceships' performance.

Equipping items for a ship involves using its six slots:&#x20;

* 2 for offensive items
* 2 for defensive items
* 2 for utility items.&#x20;

Each ship has its own set of items, so if you want to play a shooter today, you must ensure our shooter is equipped before the game. Items on a given ship cannot be changed during the game.

### Types of items

<figure><img src="https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com/docsz/AD_4nXcSwm26ArcJqlQA0csoQLNWWqxmY6K5E57SfaeF4nbTgbXbSDZkA2FuiKaa-td5y1bWfOi0SQ4VjKOodVc9Y03fyHxv2T9Xqht3KH3SeK0twyHupmMnk0gYvlqtaSP568ibUd4G26VaB8Wi8mPxyGtUR2w?key=e53DPwtW22mocDjSzs1SRw" alt=""><figcaption><p>Stash - here you can view all the items you've acquired during the game, including those equipped on your ship.</p></figcaption></figure>

In the game we have offensive, defensive and utility items:

1. **Damage Enhancement System -** increases our total damage
2. **Anomaly Bane** - boosts damage caused by anomalies and star seed
3. **Assault Core -** enhances the damage we inflict on enemy ships
4. **Hull Reinforcement Matrix** - increases our maximum health
5. **Shield Reinforcement Matrix** - increases our maximum shield
6. **Shield Augmentation Matrix** - increases our maximum shield every minute of gameplay
7. **Hull Augmentation Matrix** - increases our maximum health every minute of gameplay
8. **Aegis Module** - enhances our damage resistance
9. **StarDust Supply** - we start with more StarDust at the beginning of the game
10. **StarDust Generator** - increases our passive StarDust earnings by a given percentage
11. **Vampirism** - when attacking an enemy, we regain some health based on the damage inflicted

### Selling Items&#x20;

All the items we acquire can be sold in exchange for a small amount of Credits.

### Upgrade Tool

We're introducing the ability to upgrade acquired items. Each item can be upgraded up to five times. If you have a +4 item with a rarity of common, rare, or epic, leveling it up to +5 will change its rarity to the next level with a +0 upgrade. Only legendary items can be upgraded to +5.

To upgrade an item, move it to the upgrade tool and insert the items you wish to sacrifice to enhance the main item. Upgrading also requires credits.

### **How to Obtain Items**

<figure><img src="https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com/docsz/AD_4nXf5iKlqY1fR9N9Hp94oZnKvdPHSXREwHjuN2UfNJhsqqdMW33zWoirSLFU8m5Py4thi9-8sTd2XfSZ03M1P_-B8jKK0oIVXuGcIGpsa7FKMdpmdnYsJtSMIf3HAFOjLGJve66U_1K30wkM418gnyUTnCDk?key=b6l5tA7JsGkCiKdtkTy66w" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Items are obtained as loot during gameplay by performing certain actions:**

* destroying StarDust containers,
* destroying enemy ships,
* capturing anomalies,
* winning the game.

Items acquired by the player go into an unlimited stash where the player can manage them and equip them on their ships.

Each player has a daily limit on how many items they can obtain in a single day. Once this limit is reached, the player cannot loot any more items that day.

### Items - Detailed Info

## Increase Daily Item Limit

Items permits allow players to increase the daily limit of items that they can get by playing and winning ranked matches.

# $STAR Token

$**STAR** is the native **multi-utility** **governance token** of the StarHeroes game issued by StarHeroes DAO. $STAR as an ERC-20 blockchain token, is tradeable in various venues, including Centralized and Decentralized Exchanges.&#x20;

From the outset, the $STAR token serves as the primary tool for[ decentralizing](/decentralization) the protocol and establishing StarHeroes as a community-owned, truly web3 competitive game title. Nevertheless, it's important to note that the game's economy and tokenomics design work in tandem, empowering $STAR holders to capitalize on the game's success and adoption.\
\
$STAR also has multiple token value accrual mechanisms based on the in-game and blockchain utility.

### **$STAR utility:**

* Levelling-up of the player’s NFT Hero
* Purchase of missions for the player’s NFT Hero
* Purchase of a feature that reduces mission time for the player’s NFT Hero
* Staking which provides an additional boost to StarScore in the Hero Duty Web App
* Staking $STAR provides an instant daily Game Point boost to new players&#x20;
* Share in Real Yield from the StarHeroes proceeds
* Governance

# $STAR Staking

Introducing gamified $STAR staking - the key to securing a key advantage in the StarHeroes Seasons.

{% hint style="info" %}
$STAR staking is available at [starheroes.community](https://starheroes.community/) on Arbitrum network.
{% endhint %}

## Gamified staking - benefits

Gamified $STAR staking represents a ground-breaking approach to staking, as it will offer a multitude of utilities in the game ecosystem and our upcoming products:

* Stakers will receive attractive **APY** **(Annual Percentage Yield)** which increases with each staking pool
* By staking $STAR you will score points called **StarForce**. The more StarForce you score, the **greater your advantage** in given Season.
* Staking $STAR provides an **instant Game Point boost** to new players. The number of tokens staked is multiplied by the pool multiplier.&#x20;

## StarForce points

StarForce are backend ecosystem points generated linearly with a multiplier depending on a staking pool. **The more StarForce points you score, the better you position yourself for the each Season.** How does this work?

StarForce points:

* boost your **Hero NFT progression** with extra experience points
* boost your **leaderboard position**&#x20;

## Staking Pools

$STAR holders have four staking pools to choose from:

1. **Nebula Pool**: 15-day unbonding period, 1x StarForce multiplier, 3% APY
2. **Comet Pool:** 45-day unbonding period, 2x StarForce multiplier, 4% APY
3. **Galaxy Pool:** 90-day unbonding period, 3x StarForce multiplier, 5.5% APY
4. **Supernova Pool:** 180-day unbonding period, 6x StarForce multiplier, 8% APY.

## **How are the StarForce points generated?**&#x20;

* The longer the staking period, the higher the StarForce generated.
* The more tokens staked, the higher the StarForce generated.

This means that staking 1 $STAR in the 15-day pool generates 1 StarForce weekly, while staking 100 $STAR in the same pool generates 100 points.

**Examples:**

* John has 100 $STAR in the Nebula Pool and generates 100 StarForce per week.
* Dick has 100 $STAR in the Galaxy Pool and 200 $STAR in the Comet Pool and generates a total of 500 StarForce per week (300+200). Since Dick has staked his tokens immediately after the staking was launched this additionally generated about 714 StarForce only during the first 24 hours.

## Unbonding

When users initiate unbonding, they stop generating points and rewards in $STAR. They can shorten the unbonding period by paying a burn fee, which linearly decreases to 0 over time.

**Initial fees:**

1. **Nebula  Pool:** 15 days — 6% fee
2. **Comet Pool:** 45 days — 18% fee
3. **Galaxy Pool:** 90 days — 36% fee
4. **Supernova Pool:** 180d — 72% fee

Users can always interrupt unbonding and return to staking if they wish.

## **Hero Sale: Tier, Points, Multipliers & Leaderboard** <a href="#id-4466" id="id-4466"></a>

The Hero Sale is based on the point system with tiers, multipliers, and the dedicated Hero Sale Leaderboard.

You can learn about how the point system works [via this link](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hAOrw3NOJ0VCx6iAvK8zm6OwSQiovFCgDBHBXEm8nW4/edit?usp=sharing).

### Double Points <a href="#aee5" id="aee5"></a>

By purchasing each Hero, you earn two kinds of points:

→ **Revenue Airdrop Points** which determine your position in the Hero Sale Leaderboard available on the Sale page at the Sale launch

→ **JungleArt Points** — these are points granted within our exclusive partnership with JungleArt.AI. They are awarded by the JungleArt Team on separately from the Revenue Airdrop Points and do not affect your Hero Sale Leaderboard Position.

### Revenue Airdrop Points <a href="#cdd3" id="cdd3"></a>

* The base Revenue Airdrop Point value per Hero is **10**
* The earlier the Hero tier, the higher your multiplier of the base Revenue Airdrop Points.
* The Revenue Airdrop Points are calculated by multiplying the base Revenue Airdrop Points and the given tier multiplier
* **The multiplier for tier 1 equals 10x**. The multiplier decreases **by 8%** with each tier.
* The quantity of Heroes in each tier increases by 550.

You can learn more about the point system [via this link](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hAOrw3NOJ0VCx6iAvK8zm6OwSQiovFCgDBHBXEm8nW4/edit?usp=sharing).

## **Referral links** <a href="#id-8cfa" id="id-8cfa"></a>

Ready to boost your Revenue Airdrop Point score? It’s simple! Just take advantage of your referral link and share them with the world:

* Referrers receive **25%** of the referred person’s Revenue Airdrop Points.
* Purchasing through a referral link adds **10%** more Revenue Airdrop Points.

## Whitelist spots <a href="#d048" id="d048"></a>

All wallet addresses [on the Whitelist](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ec0wyIVvTLXaLIkB5DuC9e9YFDjrsr2zccvmiikHS2U/edit?usp=sharing), including both guaranteed and FCFS, will receive **100 Revenue Airdrop Points** in the Hero Sale Leaderboard without the requirement of purchasing or minting any Heroes.

It’s important to note that we **solely** **provide Revenue Airdrop points**, not Jungleart points.

The minting rounds for the guaranteed and FCFS round will run similarly to typical marketplace platforms, e.g. within specified time windows that will be **announced in advance**.

Check if you’re eligible [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ec0wyIVvTLXaLIkB5DuC9e9YFDjrsr2zccvmiikHS2U/edit?usp=sharing).

## Why It’s Bullish for $STAR? <a href="#b11b" id="b11b"></a>

The Hero Sale is set to spark a surge in buying pressure, and here’s why:

* The Hero Sale is set to take over 5 238 750 $STAR off the market
* The introduction of the Hero Duty Web App adds another set of utilities to the $STAR token:\
  ♦️ **Sending** your Heroes on missions **with $STAR**\
  ♦️ **Reducing** Hero mission time **with $STAR**\
  ♦️ **Leveling up** your Heroes **with $STAR**

That’s some galactic utilities, aren’t they? 🔥

## What If I Don’t Buy Now? <a href="#id-8a3e" id="id-8a3e"></a>

Waiting to get your Heroes for later could mean missing out on the opportunity to secure your share in the game’s revenue and early advantage in Public Access. So take your chance to climb up the Hero Sale leaderboard now! Don’t let this opportunity pass you by.
